FRI-EL Green Power is one of the main national producers of electrical energy from renewable sources. As at now, the Group reached a total capacity of 471,5 MW, of which 278,5 MW falling into its own remit , the majority deriving from the wind, followed by the sectors Biomass and Biogas.

The main operative data are the following:

Total installed capacity: 471,5 MW

of which from wind: 385,8 MW

from liquid Biomass: 74,8 MW

from Biogas: 10,9 MW

2009 Production  766 GWh

2010 Production 1.216 GWh

Corresponding to the annual electrical energy requirements of 350.000 families.

The production of 660.000 tons of CO2 is thus avoided.
