Our plants
In 2006 FRI-EL Green Power set up FRI-EL Acerra S.r.l. and concluded the authorization procedure to put into function the liquid Biomass thermoelectric plant in Acerra (Napoli) in order to produce electrical energy. The Acerra plant started working in 2008 and has a total installed capacity of 74,8 MW. The power size of the thermo-electric plant is the second largest in Europe among those fuelled by vegetal oil.
